At MijnPark in Houthalen, a unique business campus dedicated to sustainable entrepreneurship, TCS once again turned an ambitious vision into reality by constructing the new headquarters for Insaver, a leading player in renewable energy solutions.

MijnPark is more than a collection of buildings — it's a future-focused ecosystem. Only companies that actively reduce their ecological footprint are welcomed here. Within this context, Insaver was looking for a new location that matched its green ambitions.

The new Insaver building is a showcase of sustainable construction: solar panels, battery storage, charging stations, a geothermal heat pump, and a smart energy management system — all seamlessly integrated to achieve energy-neutral operations.
The project wasn't without its challenges: tight regulations, weather delays, and volatile material prices required flexibility and creative solutions. “What made the difference was the transparent collaboration,” says Stijn Cuppens, Co-CEO at Insaver. “TCS took ownership at every step. We felt genuinely supported.”
Beyond Construction: A Campus That Grows With You
MijnPark is designed to evolve with its companies. Through the Greenville incubator, startups in clean technology receive guidance and space to grow. When they outgrow their initial units, buildings like D, C, and E — currently under development by TCS — are ready to welcome them. It’s a model that fosters innovation and partnership.
Bert Timmers, Managing Director of Group Timmers, elaborates: “We’re building more than infrastructure — we’re cultivating an ecosystem. Every company here contributes to the bigger story: a more sustainable economy.”
Looking ahead, plans include site-wide battery systems and smart grid solutions. “We see Insaver playing a key role in that next chapter,” adds Bert. “This collaboration sets a standard for what’s possible.”
