TCS (Timmers Cranes and Steelworks), a leading name in steel construction, industrial cranes, turnkey projects and lifecycle services, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Founded in 1975 by visionary brothers Jef and Denie Timmers, the company began its journey with a small, determined team and has grown into a global player in the steelworks and industrial construction sectors.

Last week, the new water supply bridge manufactured by TCS was transported from Lanklaar to Eisden via the Zuid-Willemsvaart. This water supply bridge provides 60% of the drinking water for all of Central Limburg! Good for no less than 17 billion liters per year!

Tonight is Coldplay's final tour concert in Belgium, and the band's stage has a touch of Limburg. The special construction on the stage was built at the request of the Belgian stage builder Stageco by the steel company TCS from Houthalen. 

In May 2021, the partnership between TCS NV Houthalen and Wilhelm Spiess Solingen was born, which marked the third participation of Group Timmers in Germany. Last week we were finally able and very pleased to welcome our Wilhelm Spiess colleagues to the TCS offices and production plant in Houthalen, after the vicissitudes and precariousness troubles concerning COVID19 in the last year.

Belgian company Group Timmers takes over Wilhelm Spiess GmbH & Co. KG (Solingen, Germany). So starts a long-term strategic cooperation between two developers and manufacturers of crane systems with a rich history: TCS and Spiess Krane are a perfect match.

Right on the former mining site of Houthalen, specialised contractor TCS wilt build the Greenville Campus.

The construction of the new MSD Animal Health production facility in Boxmeer (the Netherlands) is in the finishing phase. TCS supplied and erected the steel skeleton for the two main buildings and was also responsible for the stair towers, the pipe racks and the steel platforms.

At the end of 2018, the TCS VCA Petrochemicals certificate was renewed following a very successful inspection. “It is pretty rare to find such a well-developed security system at a company of this size.”
